Wellness Care

We recommend yearly checkups for the majority of young, healthy pets. However, twice-yearly examinations are necessary for older animals and those with health issues. When you bring your pet in for wellness care at The Colony Animal Clinic, we'll conduct a complete snout-to-tail checkup. It doesn't take long, but it gives us a lot of knowledge about the general health and condition of your pet.

In addition to a physical examination, we advise yearly blood work. These yearly exams enable us to keep tabs on the health of our patients and keep an eye out for any early warning signs of future issues. These routine tests frequently provide us with information that enables us to start treating conditions like kidney and liver diseases, diabetes, and hypothyroidism while they are still in their early stages.
